Silk and Cotton Ikat Textile
Oh, wow. We love to be wowed by a new discovery, and that is what happens when we discover a new artisan. These are handwoven in Indonesia of silk and cotton ikat textiles, where the design is hand painted on the loom as the textile is woven. This can be used as a table runner, a wall hanging, or as a sublime scarf to brighten up any outfit. They measure approximately 80" long and 21" wide, excluding the fringe. The fringe is hand knotted and approximately 4" long. We suggest dry cleaning, but item can be hand washed in cold water with gentle soap, and hung dry. And the edges are unfinished from the hand loom, but can be seamed or hand rolled. Or the textile can be converted into a pair of King Size pillows...
