Table Runner Thai Silk Vintage Suzani Embroidery
When making our PEACE collection of clothing with vintage Suzani embroideries, we often came upon pieces that were so striking but more suited to decor than fashion, so a collection of one of a kind pieces in home decor was born. This piece is in a deep brick red in sumptuous 4 ply Thai silk backed in a rich 2 ply brass Thai silk, and the Vintage Suzani pieces come from prayer rugs and other ceremonial textiles, and have all been meticulously restored and appliqued onto the silk. Approximately 20" wide by 110" long, can easly be used as a wall hanging as well. Excellent for holiday tables, beautiful all year round.
