Silk Ikat Textile Wall Hanging Throw Burgundy Silver
Silk Ikat is the process whereby the design of a pattern is being hand painted on the loom as the textile is being woven. No two pieces are alike. These pieces are woven in 3 meter lengths, and can be used as a wall hanging, a throw, or indeed a shawl. And while they would be beautiful, it is almost a crime, but they can be made into pillows or a clothing piece by an extremely skilled tailor. This one is a deep burgundy red with silver woven through, and we've trimmed it with an iridescent silver border. Approximately 120" x 40"
