These handwoven Thai 100% Silk Ikat square pillows are painted as they are woven in the tradition of Southeast Asia, but with a modern, edgy, elegant design.

Our White Elephant Event begins - sometimes something is SO beautiful and special that you can only make one of them, and this incredible textile was too special to cut. To see the nuance of the hand woven and hand painted textile, you had to see the full piece. We had already made smaller pillows and shawls with the original textile, but this piece showed the full work of art. Throughout May we will be posting our White Elephants at very special discounts, but the discounts will only be for 2 days. This pillow is 36" square (!!!!), impossible to measure how deep, and almost impossible to photograph. We took it outside and posed it on a large outdoor lounge chair. All natural daylight.
